Us
Vajzë is a contemporary womenswear label between Zürich and Prishtinë. As friends and founders, we share a vision rooted in connection. Vajzë began as a conversation – about craft, collaboration, and the value of things made with care.
Every piece is made in small, women-led ateliers in Kosovë, using natural fabrics sourced from across Europe. Our knitwear is crafted in one of the last family-run knitting manufacturers in Switzerland that has preserved traditional craftsmanship while embracing contemporary design. Through these collaborations, we explore how garments can carry the presence of the people and hands behind them – pieces shaped by many hands and perspectives.

A collective of three sisters – photographers and creatives shaping the visual language of Vajzë. Their sensibility is rooted in observation: landscape, gesture, and light in conversation with clothing. From brand identity to our first campaign in Brod, Kosovë – Trivet creates imagery defined by clarity, restraint, and a deep sensitivity to atmosphere.
A painter and the visual mind behind the artwork of our first silk foulard. Drawing from folklore, domestic ritual, and richly layered symbolism, her work carries a vivid emotional world – one that moves between memory, colour, and narrative. Through our collaboration, she transforms painting into textile, creating imagery that shifts with light and movement as it drapes across the body.
A collective of writers and editors behind our Written Foulard, where text becomes tactile. Their practice centers multilingualism, vulnerability, and the intimacy of shared voice. Through workshops and conversation, they helped us translate language into pattern – exploring how narrative can live on the body as a quiet, wearable text. Their contribution expanded our understanding of what a garment can hold.
A musician, artist, and the creator of the original soundscape of Vajzë. Drawing from deep-rooted folk traditions and modern expression, her music moves with intimacy and strength – an auditory layer that carries the strength that lives softly within our silhouettes. In collaboration with Vajzë, she transforms sounds into texture, composing music that becomes part of the fabric’s atmosphere and presence.
